Patrik Heider started as CEO of NFON AG in June 2023. After studying business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Constance, he started his professional career at PwC Consulting and subsequently served as CFO of the Hoffmann Group in Munich.
Before joining NFON, he was CEO of the software companies Thinkproject and riskmethods. Before that, he was responsible for the extremely successful development of Nemetschek SE as Spokesman of the Board and CFOO, and earned an excellent reputation in the international capital market. He is married and has 2 children.
After graduating in mathematics and computer science, Andreas Wesselmann began his career at Germany’s largest software firm, SAP. Most recently, he was a member of the SAP Global Leadership team in the role of Senior Vice President, SAP HANA Database & Analytics.
With more than 20 years’ experience in an international working environment, he repeatedly demonstrated how to transfer innovation to scalable business models and further expand existing cloud software solutions reliably and cost-effectively. He orchestrated this transformation by actively involving executives and employees in shaping the future of the company and always combined a business approach with his passion for technology and innovation.
Markus is an experienced senior leader with a proven track record in the IT and telecommunications industry. In July 2023, he was promoted to Chief Product Officer of NFON AG after serving as the Managing Director for NFON Developments Lda.
Before joining NFON, Markus held a key position at Telefonica o2, where he led B2B development and strategy initiatives.
He holds a Master's degree in industrial engineering and management, which he obtained from FHM Munich and Helsinki University of Technology.
With 22 years in sales, consulting, and partner management within the ICT sector, coupled with 15 years at the helm of multinational companies, Merano's expertise is instrumental in driving our mission forward. He has a result-oriented work and management style, with a strong emphasis on analysis, definition of strategic tasks, and tracking of operational implementation.
Deputy Chairman
Since 1979, Günter Müller has been Executive Chairman of ASC Technologies AG, a leading global software provider in the field of omni-channel recording, quality management and analytics. He is also Managing Director of Milestone Venture Capital GmbH.
He previously worked for Gasa Produktions GmbH, Eisenwerke Kaiserslautern and Bosch-Rexroth. Following his pre-IPO supervisory board memberships, he was reappointed to NFON's supervisory board in December 2019 and has since been its deputy chairman.
He has completed a part-time degree in business administration.
Chairman
Rainer Koppitz (nationality: German, *1968) can look back on many years of international experience in industry as well as in the IT and telecommunications sectors, during which he was CEO at NFON and B2X Care Solutions as well as CEO Germany & Austria of BT Germany (British Telecom), among others. In 2019, Rainer Koppitz joined KATEK SE as CEO and successfully took the company public in May 2021. Prior to that, he held CEO positions at Siemens, Dell as well as Atos. Rainer Koppitz was CEO of NFON AG from 1 September 2012 to January 2015. Since February 2015, Rainer Koppitz has been a member of the Supervisory Board of NFON AG, with a short interruption, and since May 2021 he has also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the listed CENIT AG.
Dr. Rupert Doehner (nationality: German, *1971) studied law with additional training in economics at the universities of Bayreuth, Germany and Lausanne, Switzerland. After his second state examination, he worked as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Emmerich in Bayreuth, where he also obtained his doctorate. He then began working as a lawyer at CMS Hasche Sigle. Dr Doehner then worked as in-house counsel for a real estate project developer. Since 2015, he has worked as a lawyer in his own firm and advises, among others, capital market-oriented, medium-sized companies on corporate and capital market law. In 2018, Dr Doehner was appointed as a member of the supervisory board of NFON AG.
In 2014, Florian Schuhbauer (nationality: German, *1975) founded Active Ownership Capital S.à r.l., for which he is still Managing Director today. Previously, he was a partner at Triton Partners and General Capital Group, among others. In December 2019, Florian Schuhbauer was appointed to the Supervisory Board of NFON. Florian Schuhbauer holds a degree in Finance and Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Managing Director UK
Myles has over 25 years of experience in the Telecoms Industry, including 10 years as Managing Director of a successful telecommunications reseller. Prior to his current role as managing director, he was senior channel business development director at NFON UK.
Managing Director NFON Italy, France & Iberia
As a Managing Director in NFON since January 2022, Paolo is responsible for ensuring business growth in Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
He has a background as an experienced Sales Director and People Manager having covered roles as Sales Director in South Europe for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise for 11 years.
Previously, after his graduation in Electronic Engineering and post-graduate Sales School in Unisys, he worked for global ICT Corporations such as Cisco, Microsoft, SAS Institute and Unisys, responsible for revenue and customer satisfaction targets, with Strategic and Global Customers as well as important Government Authorities as assigned accounts.
He served as Technical Lead and later Head of Sales at kabelplus for 13 years before joining NFON, where he worked as Head of Channel Sales and later Head of Sales. He then switched to Microsoft, working as CE Microsoft Hosting Team and PSE Microsoft Hosting & Cloud Austria. Following a successful period at Microsoft, he joined Xratec GmbH as managing partner.
He rejoined NFON in 2018 and was promoted to Managing Director of Austria & CEE in 2023 where he currently oversees business activities in Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
Joachim holds a Master of Science in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing from the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems.
Christian has been working as an in-house counsel for more than 25 years. He has been General Counsel at NFON AG since 2015, where he was involved in several M&A and capital market transactions as well as the IPO. Christian sees himself as a legal generalist and covers the entire range of legal areas within the company.
Before NFON, Christian worked for various tech companies - including some listed companies such as CPU Softwarehouse AG, ARQUES Industries AG, ADVA Optical Networking SE. He studied in Konstanz and Tübingen.
Friederike is an experienced professional in investor relations, whose expertise includes corporate sustainability, capital markets, and stakeholder management. She has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international business and management.
After working as an Investor Relations Consultant at PvF Investor Relations, she joined Deutsche Bahn, where she spent nine years and advanced to Senior Public Affairs Officer, focusing on sustainability. She then worked as a Senior Consultant at Kirchhoff Consult AG.
In 2023, Friederike joined NFON AG, where she currently serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations & Sustainability.
Thorsten leads PR for NFON and all NFON subsidiaries. For over 30 years, he has been a company spokesperson, journalist and communications consultant. Thorsten began his career as a journalist for media outlets such as BILD, Gong Verlag, Sky Radio, Burda Verlag and many more.
Natalie has a bachelor's degree in business and health economics and a master's in international management, with a focus on change management and project management.
From 2012 to 2020, she worked in various HR roles. In 2020 she joined NFON, and in 2024 she was promoted to Vice President of People & Culture, where she leads HR strategies and works on creating a positive work environment.
